The upcoming steps connect your GitHub, Cloudflare and domain. That means a couple of copy-and-pastes that are awkward on a phone. Open outrightsite.com on a laptop or desktop to finish smoothly. The whole build takes about five minutes there.
Connect your GitHub
This is where your website's code will live, owned by you. Free to create if you do not have one.
Connect your Cloudflare
Free hosting and analytics live here, in your account. You create one scoped token and paste it in. It takes about two minutes.
How to get the token, step by step
- Go to Cloudflare → API Tokens, click Create Token, then Create Custom Token.
- Give it a name, e.g. OutrightSite build.
- Now the Permissions section. You add four rows here, one at a time. Each row is three dropdowns: the group, then the item, then set the last one to Edit. After each row, click + Add more to get the next blank row. The four rows are:
- Account · Workers Scripts · Edit
- Account · Account Settings · Edit
- Zone · Workers Routes · Edit
- Zone · DNS · Edit
- Under Account Resources, choose Include · your account. Under Zone Resources, choose Include · your domain.
- Set Token expiration to No expiry. This key keeps your site publishing your future edits, so it should not lapse.
- Click Continue to summary, then Create Token, and copy it. Your Account ID is on the Cloudflare dashboard home page, in the right-hand sidebar.

Do you already have a domain?
Do you have email at your own domain?
We mean an address that ends in your web address, like [email protected]. A free inbox like [email protected] is not affected and is completely fine.
Nice and clean. Grab a new domain, or use one you already own that is not yet in use, then pop it in below.
- Register one at Cloudflare Domains. It takes about two minutes and costs roughly ten pounds a year, at cost with no markup.
- Cloudflare adds it to your account for you, ready to use.

We won't risk moving your work email
Your website is easy to move, but email on your own domain is not, and it is the part we will not gamble with. So we build your new site on a fresh address instead of moving this domain.
Your current email keeps working, as long as you keep your existing domain running where it is. If you later stop paying for that old domain, the mailbox on it stops with it. That trade is yours to make.
If you need this exact domain to carry your email and your new site, we are honestly not the right service for you, and we would rather say so than risk your inbox.
Before we use your domain
We will point your domain at your new OutrightSite build. Once it goes live, your current website will stop showing and your new one takes its place. That is the switch you want, but it does replace what is there now.
You told us you do not use email on this domain, so there is nothing there for us to affect. If that is not right, stop here and choose a fresh domain instead.
This domain isn't on your Cloudflare yet
For us to build on your domain, it needs to be added to the Cloudflare account you just connected. It is free and takes a few minutes:
- Open Cloudflare → Add a site, enter your domain, and choose the Free plan.
- Cloudflare shows you two nameservers. Copy them.
- Sign in wherever you bought the domain (GoDaddy, 123-reg, and so on) and replace its nameservers with those two.
- It can take a little while to switch over. When it is done, press Check again below.
Already added it and picked this domain when you made your Cloudflare token? Give it a minute, then check again.
Review and build
A one-time build fee, then it is yours. No monthly rent.
