We believe ownership is fundamental, and that a straight deal beats a clever trap. So we build you a real website, hand you the keys, and get out of your way. You pay once, and it is yours.
Questions
Really. One build fee and you are done. Hosting and analytics ride on your own Cloudflare free tier, and the only bill you will ever see is your domain renewal, about ten pounds a year, paid to your registrar, not to us. No direct debit. No "your plan is expiring" emails. Nothing.
Not much, and no tech skills. A business, an email address, and a few minutes. During the build you connect two free accounts, GitHub (where your code lives) and Cloudflare (where it is hosted), and we walk you through each one. Bring a domain if you already have one, or grab a fresh one. That is the whole shopping list. See the full before you begin checklist to get set up.
Yes, and this is the good bit. Every finished site comes with a caretaker pack, a CLAUDE.md file baked right into your code. For anyone, the recommended route is Claude Code: the first time, you approve it to connect to GitHub and pick your site's repository, a one-time step, then just say what you want in plain English. It reads the caretaker guide that is already in your code, makes the change, and publishes it for you. Claude Code runs on a small subscription you switch on only for the days you are editing, then cancel any time. There is also a free way, editing the code yourself in your own GitHub, but that means working with the raw code, which is easy to get wrong, so it is really for the technically confident. Do it with Claude Code a few times and you quietly pick up a genuinely useful skill you keep for life.
You do, outright. Domain, code and hosting, all in accounts with your name on them. We keep no copies and no control. It is yours the second we hand it over.
Your site does not even flinch. Nothing about it depends on us, so it just keeps running. Any developer can pick it up from your GitHub and carry on.

Yes. Every image we place is stock photography licensed for commercial use under its provider's standard licence (we use Pexels), or a photo you supply yourself. Nothing is scraped or borrowed without permission, so the imagery on your site is legally safe to use and yours as part of the build.
You can keep your domain, and for most people that is the normal route. We point it at your new site and your old page simply stops showing, so the address on your van and your cards keeps working. If your email is a normal Gmail or Outlook, bring your domain across as usual, nothing to worry about. The one thing we do not do is move email that runs on your own domain (like you@yourdomain), because we will not gamble with your inbox. If you have email set up that way and want to keep it, leave that domain where it is and we will build your new site on a fresh one instead.
No, and you do not need us to. OutrightSite does not create or host email. Your contact form simply delivers to any email address you already use, even a Gmail. If you already run email on your own domain, we leave it well alone.
