Own your website outright

Not rented. Yours.

On most builders you never actually own your website — you rent access to it. Owning it outright means the domain, the code and the hosting all sit in your name. OutrightSite builds your site and hands over every one of those accounts, so it is yours in the way it should be.

What "yours" includes

Four things you walk away holding.

Your domain

Registered in your name with your own registrar. It is your address on the internet, and it stays yours.

In your registrar account
Your code

The complete source of your site, in your own GitHub repository. Nothing proprietary, nothing hidden — you can read it, change it, or hand it to any developer.

In your GitHub
Your hosting

Deployed into your own Cloudflare account on the free tier. You control it, and there is no monthly bill to keep it live.

In your Cloudflare
Your content

Your words and your licensed photography, plus an ownership certificate. Yours to keep, edit and reuse however you like.

Yours to keep

The test that matters

If we disappeared tomorrow, your site would not notice.

Here is the honest measure of ownership: what happens to your website if the company that built it goes away. On a rented platform, the answer is usually that your site goes away too.

With OutrightSite the answer is nothing happens. Your site lives entirely in your own accounts, with no thread running back to us. We are not a single point of failure for your business, because after handover we are simply not in the loop.

And you can still change it

Owning it does not mean you are on your own with it. Your caretaker pack lets you edit the whole site in plain English through Claude Code, and the free GitHub editor is there if you would rather change the files directly. You own it, and you can steer it, without asking anyone's permission or paying to unlock it.

Questions

Owning it outright, answered.

What does it mean to own your website outright?

The domain, the source code and the hosting are all registered in your name and under your control, not rented from a builder. You can move it, change it, sell it or leave it as it is, and no platform can switch it off.

Whose accounts is my site in?

Your own. We deploy the site into your GitHub for the code and your Cloudflare for hosting, and your domain stays with your registrar. We keep nothing after handover.

What if OutrightSite disappears?

Nothing changes. Because everything is in your accounts, your site keeps running with no dependency on us. That is the whole point of owning it outright.

Can I move my website elsewhere later?

Yes. You have the full source code, so you can host it anywhere that serves a static site, or hand it to any developer. There is no proprietary lock-in.

Own it, don't rent it.

The domain, the code, the hosting — all in your name. Founding price £299, going up to £399.
