OutrightSite vs WordPress
WordPress's hosted plans run your site on a monthly subscription, on their platform, and the free tier puts their branding on your site instead of just yours. OutrightSite builds a finished site with no platform branding and no plan, deployed into your own accounts and owned outright for one payment.
The distinction that matters
There are two WordPresses. The free, self-hosted software is powerful, but you host, secure and maintain it yourself. The hosted plans most people sign up for handle that for you, on a monthly fee, and keep your site on their platform with their branding until you upgrade.
OutrightSite is neither rented nor a maintenance job. We build the finished site and deploy it into your own accounts as fast static code. There is no platform branding, no plan, and nothing to keep patched.
Side by side

|---|---|---|
| What you pay | £299 once, then nothing | Free tier with limits; ~£25 a month for the Business plan |
| Their branding on your site | Never | Yes, on the free and lower tiers |
| Who hosts it | You, free on Cloudflare | Their platform |
| Plugins and full control | Full control of your own code | Only on the higher-priced plans |
| Who builds it | We build it for you | You do, from a theme |
| Upkeep | None — static, nothing to patch | Themes and plugins to keep updated |
| If you stop paying | It keeps running | Reverts to limited or goes offline |

Why businesses switch
Every part of the site is included. You never pay to remove branding, unlock plugins or reach the next plan.
The domain, the code and the hosting sit in your own accounts. It is portable and nobody controls it but you.
The site is fast static code on Cloudflare, secure by default. There is no CMS or plugin stack to keep patched.
Describe what you want and it is published. No dashboard to manage and no theme to wrestle.
Your site ships with a caretaker pack built into your code repository, so Claude Code already knows how it works. Ask for a change in plain English — a new page, updated details, fresh copy — and it makes the edit and publishes it, with no admin panel, themes or plugins in the way.
Claude Code costs about £20 a month while you use it, billed monthly with no lock-in: pay for one month, make all the edits you want across those 30 days, then stop. Comfortable with code? The free GitHub editor is a no-cost alternative. And either way, it is a small, optional cost for a skill that stays with you, with no tier to climb.
